Pros and Cons of this Style of Leadership

by Deandra McKenzie

Perhaps the first merit of this leadership style is that it addresses each team as unique and each challenge a company may have as unique and to be dealt with using different strategies. However, the leader would have to capable, dynamic and great at communication to advantageously carry out the described roles.

While the model seems easy to implement and addresses the needs of modern business situations or a modern world, there seems to be a lot of pressure on the leader, and the team does not seem to be as actively involved in decision making processes. This will create another issue between leaders and team members.
