Motivation factor in context of India

In India there are only two motivation factors in which can work in employee growth , retention and motivation.
First is monetary benefits related with salary and specially the benefit at the time of yearly appraisal. most of the company increase lesser than the Inflation rates which causes financial deficit in the account of employee.
Second is the incompetent Manager, his behavior specially affects the team or subordinates. Work load and frustration only causes due to insufficiency of manager.
